1. Controller

2. Data we process

We process contact and account details, billing and delivery addresses, order and product information, payment status, customer-service communications, newsletter preferences and technical data such as IP address, device, browser and cookie information.

Our products have fixed artwork. We do not collect pet photos, names or other personalisation content for orders.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to take steps before and perform a contract, including ordering, payment, production, delivery, returns and support (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); to comply with legal duties such as tax and accounting retention (Article 6(1)(c)); for legitimate interests in secure and efficient shop operation, fraud prevention and performance measurement (Article 6(1)(f)); and with consent where required, including certain cookies and newsletters (Article 6(1)(a)).

4. Shopify

Shopify provides our commerce platform and processes technical, account, order and payment data as required to provide and secure the shop. Depending on the service and region, Shopify companies and service providers may process data. See Shopify's privacy information for details.

5. Printify and production partners

For production and delivery, necessary order, product, contact and delivery data are sent to Printify and the production or shipping partner used for the order. Printify generally acts as our processor when fulfilling your order. For people in the EEA, Printify identifies SIA “Printify Development”, Raina bulvaris 25, Riga, LV-1050, Latvia, as its data-protection contact. The specific printer or carrier can vary by product and delivery address.

6. Payment providers and carriers

Payment data is processed by the payment provider selected at checkout. We generally receive status and reference information rather than full card details. Carriers receive recipient and delivery data required for shipment.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies for the cart, checkout, security and language settings. Non-essential analytics or marketing technology is used only where permitted and, when required, after consent. Settings can be changed through the cookie banner.

8. Newsletter

If you subscribe, we process your email address with consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link or by email, without affecting prior lawful processing.

9. Recipients and international transfers

We disclose data only where needed for commerce, payment, production, delivery, IT security, professional advice or legal duties. Providers may process data outside the EEA. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another recognised safeguard.

10. Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary. Order, invoice and payment records follow statutory retention periods. Support and return records are deleted or anonymised after completion and expiry of relevant limitation and evidence periods.

11. Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw consent for the future at any time. Contact service@deartailstudio.com.

12. Complaints

You may complain to a data-protection authority, particularly in the EU member state of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement.

13. Security and changes

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. We update this policy when services, processing or legal requirements change. The version published in the shop applies.
