Der Doppelnapf kombiniert eine achtförmige Basis mit zwei separat herausnehmbaren Stahleinsätzen. Die Schalen stehen nebeneinander und können einzeln zur Reinigung entnommen werden. Die Gesamtbreite beträgt etwa 31 cm bei einer Höhe von 7 cm.
Die Schalenbreite liegt bei etwa 11 cm; das tatsächliche Fassungsvermögen wird für die gewählte Ausführung bestätigt. Die Anordnung ermöglicht zwei getrennte Bereiche an einem Futterplatz.
